    Pros +

    • The pool was beautiful. Definitely made the hotel stay much nicer, very clean pool great temperature and well lit for night once the sun comes off it. Location of the hotel was central to everything in Chiang Mai. Was next to service station which is good for grabbing things quickly, but is a bit noisy too. They provide laundry service which was reasonable pricing compared to local laundry services and helpful, although staff seemed annoyed about requesting it (even though theres signage for it).
    • Location, you can walk to Thapae Gate and Pavilion Night Bazaar. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool.
    • - Lovely pool- Great price

    Cons -

    • Other than the pool, the property was very run down. Lift was very small and felt like it could break at any moment. Bed was really hard and uncomfortable and the blankets werent the right size for the bed and didnt even cover the edges. Property didnt even provide amenities like soap and was very reluctant to give you bottles of water. Weird things like missing power points in the bathroom for drying hair etc. Shower was terrible with no pressure. Balcony was one meter square box without a chair or anything. We ended up extending our stay in Chiang Mai but checked into another hotel in the same price range but ended up being luxurious.
    • No safety box in the room. Very limited choice for breakfast.
    • - Beds were very hard - Service station sound throughout the night was very annoying!

Reviewing for family: They liked the location and the exterior -- very well connected to the tourist spots!

They didn't like that there were faulty features in their room (plumbing problem) and their replacement room was infested with ants.

    7MariaPosted on: 2-3-2023

Good size room. Quiet. Not too far from anything.

    Shower pressure very weak.

    9SarahPosted on: 1-13-2023

The room was large and was cleaned every day. Water was always left, and staff were kind and accommodating where possible.

The water pressure in the room was very weak.

Great location, close to night market. Nice room, good size and clean, on the 5th floor. Nice pool.

Breakfast was poor, the downstairs area did not match the hygiene in the rooms.

Its a few mins away from the ping river and a 15mins walk away from Tha Phae gate. Room is clean and spacious, service is good and friendly. Good stay!

    Nothing much

Large room with nice view and bed. Central location, near from night market

Wifi was so bad... I need it for work. Swimming pool was not deep

Location, location, location! We only stayed one night and walked to the night market which was mind blowingly good. Just for the location I will recommend this hotel. Having stayed only one night difficult to judge the longer term experience however for me the important thing that mattered was ( a) the bed was clean and firm (b) the aircon worked :-) which is a necessity in Thialand and not a luxury.

The hotel doesn't have a control over the view of the neighbourhood so be mindful , if from the west, that this is a cultural experience and one needs to be mindful of this.

Location was ok, although it was on the side of a petrol station which got noisy in the evening.Rooms were spotlessly clean and fresh.

    The pool felt freezing

Upon arrival on Sunday night, I as warmly welcomed by the person at the reception desk.

Hygiene : when checking into my room and checking out the premises, I lift the toilet seat to find a turd! I check out the rest if the room, and am worried about the overall hygiene. I inform reception about the turd, and she offers me to check in to the room next to this one, which I gladly accept.Situated in the floor with cleaning personnel headquarters: this room was situated on the ground floor just in front of the elevator shaft. At 3am I was women by a couple that seemed to switch on/switch off endlessly the light in the turd-room, which prevented me from enjoying my good night sleep since the walls were paper thin. I was wondering, but cant confirm, if the couple next door were not a prostitute and a client, they left short time after. As I mentioned my room was in next to the stock room of the cleaning personnel. 8am they start their work, which is admirable, but I only hope they give extra attention to cleaning toilets in the futur. Less enjoyable, they do their work while discussing loudly and while making a lot of noise. So no way to sleep on.I wanted to go for a swim, in the pool where a couple of mud heaps, not sure where they came from and if it was real dirt or just nature. Doesnt help if pigeons come and wade i the side of the infinity pool to have their morning drink. I left quickly, since hygiene was already a working point in this hotel.A shower was what I needed. But turning all the valves didnt get any water running. I asked someone of the cleaning personnel who informed me that there was no running water. I give it some time. No information coming my way. I asked again to which one of the men jokingly suggested I use the swimming pool hose to clean myself. If it were the only issue I might have smiled at his suggestion. As you can imagine I did not. No pro activity from personnel concerning the issue whatsoever, I get over to reception and someone puts me in touch with the manager who will come over shortly.

Day staff were friendly and good location. However I rented a motorbike

I was there for 5 days and only the first day the water worked. Everyday there were problems with the water not working. I told the workers but she only said you need to speak to the boss and did nothing to help us. I finally spoke to the boss pn the last day about a discount and not only did he not provide me a discount, we weren't even offered a free drink. The boss walked away in the middle of our conversation with no sympathy or apology. Also the pool is extremely cold so I wasn't able to swim at all.

Great area close to Thae Pae gate and Ping river. Helpful staff.

Breakfast was boring and no Thai food. The room we had was very basic for the price

Well-located small hotel near large local market (fun for exploring!) with eateries and shops nearby. Walkable to river or old city wall and moat area, although not exactly right in the middle of tourist area. Rooms were good for the price and the deluxe has a separate sitting area. Elevator available for higher floors. Staff was kind and willing to help when needed.

There was quite a bit of road noise from the street. Breakfast/food by front desk had limited hours. Also pool looked clean and refreshing but the water was super cold!
